Tony Bromell

Tony Bromell ( born 1932 in Limerick ) is an Irish politician and former Senator in Seanad Éireann.

Bromell was born in 1932 in Thomondgate, Limerick. He was 17 years the Limerick City Council and was in this period from 1982 to 1983 mayor of the city. On 19 December 1988 Bromell was chosen for the Fianna Fáil Seanad Éireann in the. The by-election became necessary after the death of Senator Jack Daly.

Bromell was married from 1961 until her death with the singer Áine Ní Thuathaigh. In 2006 he published his autobiography Rian Mo Cho ar Ghaineamh to tSaoil ( German: " the track of my feet on the sand of life" ).
