Tony Burke

Tony Burke (born 4 November 1969 Australia) is an Australian politician.

Life

After leaving school, Burke studied at the University of Sydney Art and Law. From 1997 to 2003, he worked after his studies at the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees' Association. In October 2004, he succeeded in gaining as MP for the constituency Watson in the Australian Parliament. Burke is a member of the Australian Labor Party.

On 3 December 2007 Burke was appointed Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
