Tony Kurbos

Zvonko Kurbos ( called Toni or Tony, born October 20, 1960 in Maribor ) is a Slovenian - German football player and coach. He now owns the French citizenship.

Career

Zvonko Kurbos began his career as a youth player at SV Prague Stuttgart and played from 1972 in the youth of the Stuttgarter Kickers. In 1979, he won there on the side of players like Guido Buchwald A- Youth Championship of the DFB. From 1979 on, he played two years for the Kickers in the 2nd Bundesliga, before he moved to first division side SK Tongeren for the 1981/82 season in Belgium. He then went to France in the Ligue 1 At his first stop, FC Metz, with whom he won the French Cup in 1984, he stayed for three years.
