Tony Mansfield

Tony Mansfield ( born January 19, 1955 in Clapham, London) is a musician, songwriter and producer.

He worked (mainly as a songwriter ) with groups like After the Fire, A- ha, Aztec Camera, Captain Sensible ( " Wot " ), Naked Eyes, The B -52's and Vicious Pink and artists like Mari Wilson, Miguel Bosé, Nick Straker Ana Torroja and together.

The Nick Straker Band, he played as a guitarist in 1979, the top 10 hit "A Walk In The Park", which was written by Nick Straker.

With his band, New Music 1980, he had three UK Top 40 hits and a number 1 hit in France, overall they released three albums, " From A To B" ( 1980), " Anywhere " (1981) and " warp " (1982).

After the dissolution of New Music 1982 Mansfield founded with his brother Lee Mansfield and Rob Fisher ( Naked Eyes), the group Planet Haha, with whom she released a single "Home". He then worked with the drummer of YMO - Yukihiro Takahashi - together. These four pieces he carries out the production nor the vocal part at: Drip Dry Eyes - Memory Without Consequence - Disposable Love - Connection.

He also produced the Latvian contribution ( " My Star " ) the group Brainstorm the Euro Vision Song Contest 2000 in Stockholm, who reached the 3rd place with 136 points.
