Tony Salmelainen

Tony Salmelainen ( born August 8, 1981 in Espoo ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who plays for HIFK Helsinki in 2013 in the SM- liiga. He was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1999 in the second round as the 41st of the Edmonton Oilers.

Career

Tony Salmelainen began his career in the juniors of Kiekko - Espoo, before he moved to the junior level of HIFK Helsinki shortly after the start of the 1997/98 season.
