Torba, Turkey

Torba is a part of the municipality settlement Bodrum in Muğla Province, Turkey.

The village is located about six kilometers north of Bodrum on the north coast of the Bodrum Peninsula in a valley of olive groves and - unless destroyed by fire - pine forests. Torba reminds in no way to the bustle of the nearby town of Bodrum. Besides the fish of the area, there are also sea turtles and the rare Mediterranean monk seal. The area around Torba is gradually urban sprawl of large hotels and resorts.
