Torrefacto

Torrefacto is to roast coffee beans in a manner that is popular in Spain, France, Portugal, Costa Rica and Argentina.

Method

Here, it is the coffee beans during the roasting process sugar added, so that the beans caramelize. Wherein the acid content of the coffee is reduced and thus the bitter taste is alleviated. The torrefacto - roasted beans are mixed with traditional roasted beans ( about 20-30 % Torrefacto beans ) before they are ground.

The addition of sugar during the roasting process increases the formation of composites with antioxidant properties.
