History

Organization

The TCS is divided into 24 regionally active sections. It is managed by a Board of 24 members and an Assembly of Delegates, which belong to 145 members.

Activities

The club is known in Switzerland especially for its breakdown service.

The TCS tests each year different products - car seats, car tires, the quality of diesel fuels, helmets, navigation equipment, etc. - as well as vehicles. The technical center that performs these tests is located in Emmen ( Lucerne).

The TCS is committed to road safety and are to brochures and booklets for its members and for schools out. He participates in national campaigns that are funded by the Road Safety Fund of the Federation. Also, the TCS conducting studies on the safety of transport infrastructure.
