David Garibaldi (* November 4, 1946 in Oakland, California) is an American drummer, who is a co-founder of the radio - rhythm.

Inspired by bands like The Meters and James Brown Garibaldi developed in the late 1960s his individual "two -level concept " technique, which is essentially the ratio of stressed ( accented ) and unstressed ( unaccented ) beats, mostly at play the snare drum and the hi-hat going. Garibaldi was a co-founder of the seminal funk band Tower of Power, where he was a member until 1975 and between 1979 and 1982 and again in 1998 until boarding.
