Toxicology (journal)

Toxicology is an appearing once or twice monthly peer-reviewed journal. The first edition appeared in March 1973. The journal publishes articles and reviews dealing with the adverse effects of contaminants on the health of humans and animals. The journal maintains close links with the German Society of Toxicology.

The impact factor of the journal was in 2012 at 4,017. According to the statistics of the ISI Web of Knowledge, the journal impact factor with this in the category of toxicology at 11 out of 85 journals in the category as well as pharmacology and pharmacy will be conducted on 43 out of 260 journals.
