Tralles (crater)

Tralles is an impact crater on the moon northeastern front, north of Mare Crisium, northwest of the great crater Cleomedes whose edge he partially superimposed. The rim has grooves and the interior traces of landslides.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German physicist Johann Georg Tralles.
