Transglobal Underground

Transglobal Underground ( alternative spellings Trans - Global Underground or TGU) is a London-based music collective. The musicians who specialize in the fusion of western, oriental and African music influences, which is why their music has been referred to as " World Fusion " or "ethno- techno ". The group collaborates with various artists and bands.

History

The first four albums of the band and the Single Head Temple were taken with the Belgian Natacha Atlas as lead singer. The song was used for the Coca -Cola advertising campaign for the 1996 Olympic Games.

In 2008 she won the BBC Radio 3 Award for World Music. Together with the Albanian brass band Fanfara Tirana was released in February 2013 in a World Village Records album titled Kaba Tronics.
