Transporter: The Series (Original Title: Transporter: The Series ) is an internationally co-produced action series based on The Transporter movies of Luc Besson. The series is produced by the transmitters HBO, HBO Canada, the French channel M6 and RTL, which radiate with the exception of the HBO series. Your first screened in the United States was in October 2012 at Cinemax, and found in Germany on October 11, 2012 in RTL instead.

Action

Frank Martin, a former elite soldier, now living on the Mediterranean coast of southern France. Chris Vance takes on the role of the " transporter " Frank Martin of Jason Statham, who portrayed the character in the Transporter films in the series. The Hungarian actress Andrea Osvart plays the female lead in the series, a former CIA agent who supported Frank Martin in the organization of his missions.

François Berléand continues his role of Inspector Tarconi from the original film.

The first 5 episodes of the series was shown on RTL in the German broadcasting area on October 11, 2012 at 20:15, the next 5 from November 15 2012 until at 21.15 clock. For the last two no broadcast date has been announced.

In early August 2013, the production of a second season was announced in Frank Spotnitz is to act as the new showrunner for the series. Frank Martin's company car is an Audi A8 in the 3rd generation in a special-protection version.
