Trauma shears

A clothes shears suitable for injury-free removal of clothing in case of accidents scissors.

A known type is in the DIN standard DIN 58279 - B 190 described under the name of aid kit scissors. The standardized so scissors are rust-free and sterilized in a steam autoclave. In this form it is also part of the filling of the first aid kits according to DIN.

The gap is adjusted in many ways to their intended use. The scissor arms are bent at almost 45 degrees in the joint, thus facilitating the separation tight-fitting clothing. The lower blade has a blunt end, which is protected against accidental needlestick injuries. It also has a serrated edge, which significantly complicates the slipping out of the clippings. Both legs are reinforced by a bead.
