Triglia (Greek Τριγλία, ( f sg ) ); official name Dimotiki Enotita Triglias, ( Δημοτική Ενότητα Τριγλίας ) is a district of the municipality of Nea Propondida the west of the Chalkidiki peninsula in the Greek region Central Macedonia. It originated in 1997 as an independent community within the Greek local government reform Schedio Kapodistrias by combining the previously independent municipalities Nea Triglia, Nea Plagia, Eleochoria and Petr Alona. The administrative seat of the municipality was the largest resort of Nea Triglia, from which the name of the municipality derives.

The area is located in the west of Chalkidiki Prefecture in the region designated during the ancient times as Bottike. It extends from the west coast of Halkidiki peninsula located in the north- east to the south of the Anthemous Valley Mountain Range. The highest point of the village is the north-east of the village Petralona lying Katsika mountain ( altitude 542 m). In this mountain there is the cave of Petralona, the hollows of which remains of a prehistoric man in 1960 and remains have been found of prehistoric animals.
