It is built of brick, and its floor plan consists of nave, choir and a high aufragendem bell tower. The construction inspired the parish priest of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Huntsville to instruct the architect Frank Wills of the Church in Mobile with the design of the temple of his community. The design of the two churches is quite similar.
