Triosphere

Triosphere is a progressive metal and symphonic metal band from Trondheim, Norway.

Band History

The band was formed in 2004 by Ida Haukland (vocals, bass ), Marius Silver Bergesen (guitar) and Ørjan Aare Jørgensen ( drums), which Tor Ole Byberg as second guitarist shortly after joining. The band signed to the Norwegian label 2006 Records Face Front. Shortly after, she released her first album in Norway, Onwards, which was later sold in Asia, Europe and the United States. The band was then celebrated in mainstream music magazines like Rock Hard or the U.S. website Just Plain Folks Music as a newcomer act. The latter side gave the album the title Metal Album of the Year.

Triosphere then toured Europe and signed with AFM Records There appeared on 28 May 2010, the second album The Road Less Travelled.

Music style

Triosphere plays " traditional Melodic Power / Heavy Metal with slight Scandinavian hard rock and progressive influences " in the style of Sinergy, master plan, Dio and newer Nightwish.
