Cryptopsaras couesii ( Gr. " kryptos " = secret, hidden " Psaras " = Fischer couesii in honor of the ornithologist Elliott Coues ) is a deep-sea angler fish, which is found almost worldwide in all oceans in tropical and subtropical regions.
