Tripping Daisy

Tripping Daisy was a power pop band that was formed in 1990 in Dallas by Tim DeLaughter, Wes Green Mountain, Mark Pirro and Jeff Bouck. The band released 4 albums and 3 EPs until its dissolution in 1999, after the death of guitarist Wes Green Mountain.

With the second album, I'm an Elastic Firecracker, released in Iceland, succeeded the commercial breakthrough. The last album Tripping Daisy was published after the death of Wes Green Mountain.

The band members Tim DeLaughter, Mark Pirro, Bryan Wakeland and Jeff Bouck founded in 2000 The Polyphonic Spree, drummer Ben Curtis and his brother Brandon The Secret Machines.
