TBTA ( systematic name: tris [ (1 -benzyl -1H -1 ,2,3- triazol- 4-yl) methyl] amine ) is a chemical compound selected from the group of triazoles ( specifically the Polytriazolamine ).

Production and representation

TBTA can be obtained by reaction of benzyl azide and Tripropargylamin in a copper (II) -acetat/Natriumascorbat-Lösung.

Use

Use is TBTA in the copper azide alkyne cycloaddition ( CuAAC ) in which TBTA prevents disproportionation, as well as the oxidation of Cu ( I).
