Tristan Garel-Jones, Baron Garel-Jones

William Armand Thomas Tristan Garel -Jones, Baron Garel -Jones, PC ( born February 28, 1941) is a British politician. As a member of the Conservative Party, he was from 1979 to 1997 MP for the constituency of Watford and was raised to life peer in 1997.

After his entry into Parliament was Garel -Jones Whip and Junior Minister in the Foreign and Commonwealth Department .. He was Vice -Chamberlain of the Household (1986-1988), Comptroller of the Household (1989-1990), Treasurer of the Household (1989 -1990 ), minister for Europe (1990-1993 ).

After his retirement from Parliament he was raised as Baron Garel -Jones for Life Peer.

Garel -Jones is a supporter of the British Humanist Association and Vice Chairman of the All- Party Parliamentary Humanist Group.
