Trolleybuses in Dushanbe

The trolleybus Dushanbe is the only trolleybus operation in Tajikistan. The Obusverkehr in the capital Dushanbe was opened on 2 May 1955, and today consists of the eight lines 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12 and 14 are used predominantly vehicles of the type Siu -9 from Russian production, furthermore, in 1999 some Hungarian Ikarus buses were converted to trolleybuses.

A second Tajik trolleybus operation existed from 1970 to 2010 in Khujand.
