Trophée des Gastlosen

The Trophée des Gastlosen (French for trophy of the guest ones) is the name of a people and competition race of ski mountaineering in the Swiss region Charmey, which is held annually in the Gastlosen chain since 1993.

The history of the sports event dates back to the 1987 -born idea Erhard Loretans hosting the Patrouille des Poyets. Since 1995, one of the event for the Wettkampfskibergsteiger the Swiss Cup in ski mountaineering ( Cup Coupe Suisse de Ski Alpinisme ), was already part of the World Cup in ski mountaineering and 2002, part competition, part of the Trophée des Alpes.

Stretch

Offered to be a long ( Course A ) and a short distance ( Course B ). The route begins and ends in Jaun and comprises a total ascent height of 2190 m and an overall height of 2230 m descent. The sequence point for the participants of the short track located in Abländschen. Both routes lead over the summit of Wandflue ( 2133 m).
