TrustRank

The TrustRank algorithm is a method for evaluating the quality of websites. It is used for semi-automatic classification of the quality of a page or to detect spam pages and search engines to help in the evaluation of websites.

The approach of the TrustRank method is that sites of trusted sites (trust for engl. Trust ) are linked, are themselves trustworthy, while spam pages are seldom or never linked from trusted sites.

When TrustRank algorithm a small number is selected manually from trusted sites. These can then be similar to the PageRank method, further bequeath trust to linked sites. The trustworthiness of a page decreases the further it is away from the sources. The calculation of TrustRank, after manually defining sources, automatically from the link structure, that is, the links on the web pages.
