Tsunami Bomb

Tsunami Bomb was a punk rock band from Petaluma, United States, founded in 1998 and disbanded in October 2005.

Band History

Dominic Davi formed the band along with Kristin McRory after both had left the band Head Borad in February 1998. Already on 26 June of the same year played Tsunami Bomb their first concert. End of the year McRory left the band and Davi took Emily Whitehurst, the sister of his former roommate, as a new singer in the band. Whitehurst was called in connection with the band almost always Agent M to highlight their importance in the band.

The first release was a 7 "split with the former band of Whitehurst and the former guitarist Brian Bourke Plinky. Following The 7" was released by the label Checkmate Records, Hunter Burgan, bassist of AFI heard. After they had published in 2000 on Tomato Head Records a CD -EP signed Tsunami Bomb, 2002 at Joe Escalante ( The Vandals ) Kung Fu Records and released their first album there. In 2003, Davi, the band's founder, asked to leave the band due to personal and creative differences. He then formed the band Love Equals Death.

In October 2005, Tsunami Bomb then dissolved because of problems with the " business side of the music industry " link. It founded the band The Action Design with Whitehurst and bassist used for Davi Matt McKenzie and Nothington with guitarist Jay Northington and drummer Gabriel Lindeman. McKenzie currently plays even with Hoobastank.

Tsunami Bomb 's event included on the Warped Tour and toured the U.S., Europe and Japan.
