TSV Großhadern

The TSV Munich - Grosshadern 1926 eV is a sports club in Munich- Grosshadern with nearly 3400 members (as of 2006). How many classic sports clubs it is divided into many sub-divisions like football, handball, tennis, etc..

Judo

However, special attention should be paid Founded in 1949, the judo department that a year later the Munich City Cup won in 1951 and was able to celebrate the first league titles in singles. Since 1972 judokas take the TSV Munich - Grosshadern regularly at the Olympic competitions in part, except for 1980, 1988 and 2008. For medals at the Olympic Games for judo department attended 1972 Paul Barth with bronze, 1984 silver and 1988 bronze Günther Neureuther and 1992 1996, each with bronze Richard Trautmann.

1993 brought Johanna Hagn the world title in Munich in 2003 achieved this Florian Wanner.

Also at the European Championships, the judoka of TSV were several times on the podium and took 1967 ( Gerd Egger ), 1984 ( Günther Neureuther ) and 1991 ( Catherine Binger ) the title.

Football

The football department was in the 1980s one of the strongest amateur clubs in Munich. In 1986 with the title in the national league south of the rise in the Bavarian League. There, however, the team missed the league and immediately rose again.
