TTCN -2

The acronym stands for TTCN Tree and Tabular Combined Notation, which indicates the notation used in trees and tables. It is defined in: IUT - T Recommendation X.292, OSI conformance testing methodology and framework for protocol Recommendations for ITU- T applications - The Tree and Tabular Combined Notation ( TTCN ), 1998

TTCN -3

According to the intention of the authors is the new name for Testing and Test Control Notation. This name corresponds more to the purpose of language, also the syntax was already modified so that the old name no longer applies without further notice. Its definition can be found in: ITU- T Recommendation Z.140, The Tree and Tabular Combined Notation version 3 ( TTCN -3): Core Language, 2001
