Tunisian Arabic

Tunisian Arabic is a Western -Arab dialect and is spoken by about 13 million native speakers.

It is used both in Tunisia and Algeria in the northeast and the western part of Tripoli with different accents. Since many Tunisians living abroad, it is also spoken in Western European countries such as France in the family.

Tunisian Arabic belongs Algerian, Moroccan and Maltese to the Maghreb dialects and is strongly influenced by the Berber languages.
