Tureen
A terrine (French: " earthen " ) refers to a soup bowl, which was added to the tableware in the 18th century. Later, mostly made of porcelain, sometimes made of silver; also clay lid tins for foie gras and chicken patties.
Derived from it is a terrine, a dish, a variant of the pie that is cooked without batter.
