Turkey women's national football team
The Turkish national football team of women representing Turkey in the international women's football. The selection is subject to the Turkish Association and is trained by Ogun Temizkanoğlu.
To date, the Turkish national team never qualified for a major tournament. In qualifying for the 2011 World Cup, the team met to Spain, England, Austria and Malta. And only wins over Malta and a draw against Austria, so that the penultimate group space was occupied at the end.
In qualifying for the European Championship 2013, Turkey will encounter include the German team against which is the highest ever loss to Beech, and for the first time in Switzerland.
In the FIFA World Ranking Turkey initially fell from 68th place to rank 72, which was occupied from December 2006 to March 2007 and March 2008, then climbed to Rank 57 in June 2009 to then back to rank 66 (November 2010) to fall back. Currently, Turkey is ranked 63 or 34th of European rankings.
