The Turkish Council ( Azerbaijani: Türk Surasi, Kazakh: Түрік кеңесі, Kyrgyz: Түрк кеңеш, Turkish: Türk Konseyi, English: Turkic Council) is an international organization of several Turkic states.

The Turkish Council was established on October 3, 2009 in Nakhchivan City with the signing of the Treaty Naxçıvan through Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. He is to be compared with the Commonwealth of Nations, the Euro Europe or the Arab League.

Organization

The organization has three centers: Istanbul, Baku, Astana. In İstanbul is the administrative center in Baku and the Parliamentary Assembly in Astana is the Turkish Academy.

The President of the Council meet twice a year, once officially and unofficially once. MPs and Parliament Presidents meet in the framework of the Parliamentary Assembly in Baku.
