Turn It Up is a song of the It Girls Paris Hilton and their second single from her debut album Paris. It was released worldwide on July 15, 2006 to her own record label Heiress Records.

For the production of the song and the song writing Hilton undertook, among other things Jeff Bowden, Scott Storch and Dorian Hard Kind. The song is a hip hop song with dance and R & B elements. On Turn It Up Paris Hilton raps for the first time, being very inspired to rap and hip- hop music according to their own statements.

Background

Paris Hilton tries since 2004 as a singer and recorded an album for which she hired JC Chasez and Rob Boldt as producers. She quit her direct recording contract with Warner Brothers and founded the record label Heiress Records as a sub-label of Warner Brothers. 2004, the planned release of the first single Screwed by little successful test runs at clubs in Miami was canceled. In June 2006, Stars Are Blind was released as the first single from the album will be released in July Paris.
