Turn (knot)

The Rundtörn denotes a single wrap or wrapping an object, and is the starting point of many nodes, and for covering a cleat or bollard.

The most famous is probably the one and a half Rundtörn with two half hitches. A half Rundtörn is a bay around an object. A whole Rundtörn is an eye for an object.
