TV France International

TV France International is a professional association that supports the promotion of French television programs abroad. In this club have 150 producers, distributors and subsidiaries of stations that reach 90 % of French exports, together. It was founded in 1995 and is chaired by Xavier Gouyou Beauchamps. The honorary chairman is Jean -Louis Guillaud.

Tasks and objectives

As a public service TV France International has obtained the support of the state film funding agency Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC), the French Foreign Ministry, organized as a civil-law union of cinema and television producers Procirep and UBIFRANCE and the French Agency for international development of French companies.

Target of TV France International is to promote the sale of French TV programs abroad and to facilitate international co-productions.

TV France International allowing contact not only with French exporters, but also with buyers from around the world - preferably at national and international fairs, or via the website of TV France International.

Events

  • Le Rendez -Vous ( dt: the meeting ) is an annual event that allows customers from around fifty countries, to see more than 1,300 new television productions and to take the French distributor ( 19th edition in Biarritz from 8 to 12 September 2013 )
  • Trade stands, a French representative on most TV shows.
  • Sales promotions for certain providers or topics.
  • The export award recognizes annually the best selling and most successful productions and emphasizes the influence on the economy and culture of French exports and the important role of the French company for international distribution. The award is presented annually in December in Organised by Procirep television producer price.

  • More than 22,000 television and feature films, animations, documentaries, shows and live performances are presented in detail by the French exporters on the club website. The page provides a thorough analysis of the programs according to precise criteria, and the establishment of a personal information service that makes the customer aware of relevant new publications.
