Tweede Divisie

The Tweede Divisie ( German: First Division) was a Dutch football league. It was founded as a result of the introduction of professional football in the Netherlands in 1956, together with the Eredivisie and the Eerste Divisie and was the lowest of the three professional leagues. Founded as a two-tier league, it was 1960-62 and from 1966 the country held in a season. In 1971 she was disbanded due to lack of profitability.
