The four former Romanesque parish churches

Recently, in 2005, four smaller former parish churches of the old town of Cologne were included in the program. Two of these churches have been preserved only in parts and integrated into new or renovated facilities:

  • St. John the Baptist
  • St. Peter church tower, 11th century
  • Alt St. Alban, integrated into the Gurzenich
  • St. Columba, integrated into the Columba Museum

Have not been included Old St. Mauritius (Cologne - Buchheim ), St. Hubertus ( Flittard ) and Old St. Pancras (Cologne - Worringen ).

Board of Directors

Special activities

Since 1988, the association promotes with other cultural institutions in the Romanesque churches of Cologne, the Roman summer, in which get a week musical performances to the performance. The week concludes with the Roman night in St. Maria im Kapitol as the highlight.
