Two Oceans Aquarium

The Two Oceans Aquarium is an aquarium in Cape Town, South Africa. It gets its name due to its location at the Cape of Good Hope, the meeting of the Atlantic and Indian Ocean.

Opened in 1995, the aquarium contains more than 30 300 species of fish basin from the Indian and the Atlantic Ocean, plus invertebrates such as anemones, jellyfish, tube worms, clams, snails and crabs. Special attractions are the 2 million -liter Open Ocean tank, where sharks and rays can be seen, and the Living Kelp Forest ( kelp forests ), which reflects the wildlife on the coast. Located on a sandy beach with penguins and seals tides on the Cape are simulated.
