Two Tickets to Paradise is an American comedy film from the year 2006. Directed by Daniel Bernard Sweeney, who also produced the film, one of the lead roles took over and together with Brian Currie wrote the screenplay.

Action

The friend, Mark, Billy McGriff and Jason Klein are all old by 40 years. The bond between Mark and his wife Sherry is becoming weaker. Sherry leaves him and takes their son with. McGriff caught his wife having an affair. Klein suggests to his friends, a trip to a football game to which he has won the tickets in a lottery. The friends embark together on a journey.

Background

The film was shot in Miami, San Diego and Wilmington (North Carolina). His cost of production was estimated at 1.75 million U.S. dollars. The world premiere took place on 6 April 2006 on the Method Fest Independent Film Festival, which was followed by several other film festivals. In January 2008, the film was released on DVD in Greece. On 22 July 2008, he starts in the cinemas of the USA .. To date, he has not been shown in Germany or released on DVD.

Awards

Daniel Bernard Sweeney as director and John C. McGinley won in 2006 prices Method feast. Sweeney received a prize from the 2006 Savannah Film and Video Festival and the Boston International Film Festival. Daniel Bernard Sweeney won each as a director and as an actor the Action on Film Award at the Action on Film International Film Festival. He won the 2007 also has a price of Accolade Competition, the Appalachian Film Festival, the Coney Iceland film festival, the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival, the Santa Fe Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Vail Film Festival. In 2008 he was awarded the Golden Honu Award of the Big Iceland Film Festival.
