UAFA Club Cup

The UAFA Cup is a football competition for club teams in the Arab world, from 2003 /04 to 2011/12 was known organized by the Union of Arab Football Associations ( UAFA ) and under the name of Arab Champions League. Participation is open to selected club teams of UAFA area countries. Precursor was discharged since 1982 Arab Club Champions Cup, which was only the Masters reserved. The two finalists qualified between 1992 and 2001 for the Arab Super Cup. In 2002, the competition was merged with the Cup Winners' Cup twice and am initially as Prince Faisal Fahad Tournament played out. The main sponsor was Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel, owner of the Arab television ART who transferred the games. The winner of the tournament was 6 million Saudi riyals (about 1.6 million U.S. dollars).
