UAS7

The UAS7 (Seven Universities of Applied Sciences) have formed a strategic alliance of seven German universities to promote their teaching and research activities. Their common goal is to expand its presence in the U.S. education market and collaborations with leading American universities.

The UAS7 entertain the "German House " in New York an office, allowing them to advertise the offers of the local universities.

The UAS7 universities see themselves as universities of applied sciences with high standards in teaching and applied research. The universities agreed on a common standard of quality. Thus, the qualifications of the students to be backed up on a very high level.

History

The network was launched in 2005. As one of the first joint offers a highly cross-school was organized Summer School for American students of UAS7 in 2006. Building on the successful work of the first years, the Alliance has been formed UAS7 in July 2007 as an association. His seat has the UAS7 eV in Berlin.

2012 opened another overseas office in São Paulo in the newly opened German Center for Research and Innovation.
