UAZ-469

The UAZ -469 (Russian УАЗ -469 ) is an all-terrain vehicle that was produced by the residents of the Russian Ulyanovsk company UAZ. The UAZ -469 was mainly used by the Soviet Army and other armed forces of the Warsaw Pact countries. In the Soviet Union, he also found widespread use in almost all government organizations that had a need for a robust off-road vehicle.

The UAZ -469 was built in 1971 and replaced the previously built GAZ -69. The vehicle combines significant advantages: it is to drive both able in almost any terrain with carburetor fuel as well as extremely easy to repair. In the 90s versions with XD2 diesel engines from Peugeot were sold. Several occasions the vehicle was also marketed as Tundra 469.
