UBC magnofit Güssing Knights
The UBC magnofit Güssing Knights are a basketball club from Güssing in Burgenland. The Knights are in addition to the Oberwart Gunners the second Burgenland team that plays in the first Austrian basketball league.
History
The women's team is founded by Paul Mayer 1957 and 1958 are the gateway to the men's team in the championship. After 1995, the promotion to the Bundesliga B was achieved in 2000 was the voluntary withdrawal from the Bundesliga. 2002 again was the promotion to the Bundesliga B and 2006 in the Bundesliga A.
Achievements
The club was in the years 1967, 1971, 1982, 1984, 1995, 2001 and 2002 to decide the national championship titles.

Greatest successes in the Bundesliga
In the seasons 2011/12 and 2012/13 respectively the quarterfinals of the Bundesliga has been reached. The quarter-final series were lost both times against Kapfenberg Bulls ( 2011/12 1:3, 2012/13, 2:3 ).
