UBSC Raiffeisen Graz

UBSC Raiffeisen Graz is a basketball club from Graz in Styria. The association in the present form was created in 1977 from the merger of BUG and UBBC Graz, the official founding date of January 21, 1956 is given.

The biggest success in club history was reaching the 8th place in the A- League in the season 1980 / 81st

After several years in the 2nd Bundesliga, the club has been playing in the season 2007 /08 in the Bundesliga. UBSC Graz took after leaving the VIVA 49ers basketball one of the newly available 12 Bundesliga place after sporting the rise could not be reached. Until the 2009/10 season the club also took part in the 2nd Bundesliga.

From the season 2003 /04 to 2009/10 UBSC Raiffeisen Graz was also represented with a women's team in the AWBL.

Offspring

The association maintained until the 2009/10 youth teams for boys and girls ages 8 through consistently in all age groups ( MIXU10, MIXU12, WU14, MU14, WU16, MU16, WU18, MU18, WU22, MU22 ). With this range of Austrian and Styrian championships are contested. In 2004, the club from basketball magazine " Full Court Press " of the 2003/04 season was the best junior basketball club of Austria selected. A points system the number of successes in the ÖMS ( Austrian Championship ) and the number of teams counted.

From the 2010/11 season, the club has no female teams more. Been, the players are mostly newly founded by the two ladies basketball clubs ' UBI Graz ' and ' DBBC Graz ' taken.
