UCI Continental Circuits#UCI Europe Tour

The UCI Europe Tour is introduced for the 2005 season from the International Cycling Union UCI European road cycling calendar. It belongs with the other continental racing series (UCI Africa Tour, UCI America Tour, UCI Asia Tour, UCI Oceania Tour ) to the UCI Continental Circuits below the UCI World Tour ( up to and including 2010: UCI ProTour ).

The annual race calendar of the UCI Europe Tour includes the race between 15 October of the previous year and 14 October of the following year.

The one-day races and stage races of the UCI Europe Tour are divided into three categories (HC, 1 and 2). For every race points are awarded for an individual, team and nations. An individual races UCI ProTeam also can participate; the results of the ProTeam riders remain for the annual ranking but out of consideration.

Team

May at the race of the UCI Europe Tour - depending on the UCI category - UCI ProTeam participate, UCI Professional Continental Teams, UCI Continental teams, as well as national, regional and club teams. The first three European Continental teams a fictional rankings that is calculated beginning of the season due to the commit driver are mandatory invite of the organizers of the race in the second category.
