UCI Women's Road World Rankings

The UCI World Ranking road cycling ( women ) (English UCI Women Road World Rankings ) was introduced in 1994 for riders and nations. Since 1999 there is a separate world rankings for UCI Women's Teams.

Rules and point scale

The individual world rankings are in accordance with the rules of the UCI calculated as follows (as of 2013):

In the individual ranking points won the following races will be added to the monthly points account the particular driver and deleted the points of the previous month.

  • World Championships, Olympic competitions Road race 200 to 3 points for the first 20 riders
  • ITT: 100-3 points for the first 15 riders
  • Continental and National Championships Europe and America, road race 80 to 3 points for the first twelve riders, ITT 16 to 2 points for the first twelve riders
  • Asia, Road Race: 60 to 3 points for the first ten riders, ITT: 12 to 3 points for the first five riders
  • Africa and Oceania, Road Race: 40 to 3 points for the first 8 riders, stages: 8-2 points for the first three riders, ITT: 8, 5 and 2 points for the first three riders
  • National Championships: depending on the discipline and the ranking position of the national association between 40-1 points for ten riders and 3 and 1 points for three riders
  • International Competitions World Cup: 120-2 points for the first 20 riders, leader's jersey: 6 points
  • Categories 1.1 and 2.1: 80-1 points for the first 18 riders, stages 16 to 2 points for the first eight riders, leader's jersey: 6 points
  • Categories 1.2 and 2.2: 40 to 3 points for the first ten riders, stages: 8-1 points for the first four riders, leader's jersey: 2 points

For the team ranking points earned by the four best riders of the UCI Women's teams are added. Teams who finish in the team time trial of UCI Road World Championships in the top ten will receive additional points according to the following scheme:

For the nations ranking points earned by the top five riders are added.
