UD Logroñés

The Unión Deportiva Logroñés is a Spanish football club based in Logroño in the autonomous community of La Rioja. The club was founded in 2009 and plays its home matches at the Estadio Las Gauna, which provides space for 16,000 spectators.

History

The club was founded on June 24, 2009. The acquisition and the relocation of the CD Varea to Logroño gave the starting place in Segunda División B in the season 2009/10, the CD Varea in the preseason was a master of Tercera earned División, as the qualifying spot for the Copa del Rey 2009/10.
