Udupi Chikmagalur (Lok Sabha constituency)

The Lok Sabha constituency of Udupi - Chikmagalur - is a constituency in elections to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament. It is located in the state of Karnataka and covers most of the districts of Udupi and Chikmagalur.

In the last election, 1,253,135 residents were eligible to vote.

Constituency history

The constituency Udupi - Chikmagalur Lok Sabha has existed since the election of 2009. Predecessor constituencies were the constituencies Udupi and Chikmagalur. In the reorganization of constituencies previous constituencies Udupi and Chikmagalur gave off a part of its territory to surrounding constituencies and became the new constituency of Udupi - Chikmagalur together.
