The Uia di Ciamarella (or just: Ciamarella ) is a three-thousand in the Graian exactly on the Italian- French border, the main Alpine ridge the Maurienne ( Arctal ) from Val d' Ala, one of the so-called Lanzotäler separates.
History
The first ascent was made on July 31, 1857 as part of survey work by the engineer Antonio Tonini and his assistant Ambrosini. At the summit there is a bust of Salensianerpriesters Leonardo Murialdo, who ascended the summit in 1867.
