The Uitgeest station is located on the western outskirts of the Dutch town of Uitgeest. The station is used by some 3,000 people ( 2005). He is a central hub in urban public transport. At the station, at national regional trains.
History
The station was opened on 1 May 1867, with the section Alkmaar - Uitgeest the railway line Nieuwediep -Amsterdam. At the same time the connection was established to Haarlem. The station was completely rebuilt in 2006.
