Ujar District
Ucar is a rayon in Azerbaijan. The capital of the district is the city Ucar.
Geography
The district has an area of 867 km ². Large parts of the area are steppe, smaller forested.
Population
In Rayon lived 2009 77.900 people. These are distributed across 32 villages and a town.
Economy
The region is dominated by agriculture. It is cotton and corn grown and operated livestock. The district is the Baku -Tbilisi- Ceyhan pipeline runs.
